COMPUTER VIRUS
A computer virus is a malicious application or code that is used to execute destructive activities on a device or local network. The malicious activity of this code can damage the local file system, steal data, disrupt services, download more malware, or any other action that is coded into the program. Many viruses pretend to be legitimate programs to convince users to run them on their device, thus inserting the virus payload.
